Officer's Field Set
Ghurka’s 40th anniversary, along with the 200th anniversary of the Gurkhas service to the British Crown, was celebrated in 2015. The Officer’s Field Set created by Richard Wrightman for Ghurka is part of the G200 collection, which celebrates this bicentennial milestone in partnership with The Gurkha Welfare Trust. The GWT is the leading charity providing financial, medical and developmental aid to Gurkha veterans.
The Officer’s Field Set incorporates the classic Ghurka vintage chestnut leather with the famous green wool with red flash used in Gurkha dress uniforms. It consists of a trunk, two folding field chairs, a whip-stitched field blanket, two pillows and a field umbrella. Only three sets have been created with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
