Ordering:
All pieces are made to order. Most pieces can be completed within 14–16 weeks of receipt of deposit, subject to availability of materials. Depending on our production schedule, lead times can extend to 18–20 weeks. Lead times for large or complex pieces are quoted individually and confirmed when an order is placed. If you need a piece sooner than our current lead times, please let us know and we will advise if we can accommodate your schedule. A 70% deposit is required to begin production, with the balance due upon completion, prior to shipping.
Returns & Warranty:
Because our pieces are made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges. Every piece is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two years (residential) / one year (commercial), and we'll repair or replace any defective piece at our discretion. Completed pieces are crated and shipped by freight to a receiving warehouse; white-glove delivery can also be arranged. Shipping and transit insurance are included in your final invoice and payable with the balance upon completion. Please confirm that finished pieces can clear doorways, elevators, and stairwells before delivery. Inspect on arrival — any shipping damage must be noted on delivery and reported within seven days.
Shipping:
Shipping and transit insurance are billed to the customer and included in the final invoice, payable with the balance upon completion, and include packing and other miscellaneous charges. Unless complete shipping instructions are given by the customer, RWD Ltd. will select the carrier. Completed orders are shipped upon receipt of the balance due. RWD Ltd. does not assume responsibility or liability where on-site conditions or limitations prevent delivery of the item(s). It is the customer's responsibility to determine that the size of completed products can clear doorways, elevators, and similar access points. RWD Ltd. is not responsible for arranging local delivery or installation, or for assembling products shipped unassembled.
Bespoke:
Every piece in the collection begins as a conversation — about a room, a material, a life being lived. Because we work entirely to order, the whole of our work can be made to your measure: scale, finish, and material chosen to suit the commission precisely. At least half the collection was itself born from a client's request, and new commissions are always welcome. Tell us what you have in mind.

All COM/COL should be clearly marked with pattern name/number, designer name, showroom name and side-marked.
COM is subject to approval by Richard Wrightman Design for suitability.
COM yardage requirements are based on 50” wide plain or textured goods that require no matching of patterns
COL requirements are based on clean, undamaged 55 square foot hides. Additional COL may be required if we receive smaller, flawed or half hides. For COL pieces, strapping leather must be chosen from the 6 available strapping colors.
