Carrington Canopy Bed
A canopy bed proposes a room within a room. Four posts, a horizon line overhead, and the option — should the moment call for it — of linen mesh swagged across the frame to filter the morning. The Carrington takes the proposition seriously. In ebonized eucalyptus, the structure draws itself in confident black lines against whatever wall it meets, and the upholstered headboard and box spring, here in Holland & Sherry linen, soften the geometry without apologizing for it.
What distinguishes the Carrington from its forebears is the pair of cantilevered night tables that float free of the posts, each fitted with a small drawer, a leather blotter, and the straps that keep a book or a pair of reading glasses where you left them. They are the bed's quiet argument: that the things one wants close at hand belong close at hand, and that a night table need not stand on its own four legs to do its work.
Headboards are made to any height, width, and thickness; platforms likewise. Outlets and reading lights are installed on request. Available queen through California King, and headboards may be ordered on their own. Bespoke conversations are welcome.
