Octavio Desk

Richard designed the Octavio early on and it showed him where he was going — furniture made with the spirit of travel.

The structure is clear. Eight tapered legs — hence the name — support a generous solid wood top where wood and leather meet as equals, a blotter that doesn’t decorate the desk so much as complete it. Nothing is hidden. Nothing is unnecessary.

It does not fold. But it will travel. Disassembled, the Octavio can follow its owner from one country to the next, from one chapter to another. The desk of someone who has not stopped moving, but who has stopped pretending that home is fixed.

Available in walnut, white oak, ash, wenge, eucalyptus, or plantation teak in finishes available from light to dark. One drawer, two or four. Leather blotter and drawer liners optional. Wire management options. Leather-clad and stitched laptop shelf.

Made to order in New Hartford, Connecticut.
